Don’t Matter if You’re Black or White

When my now-adult son Adam was six or seven, after watching a TV bio of Michael Jackson, he came up to me and asked, very solemnly, “Was Michael Jackson white before he was black before he was white?” I laughed so hard, I almost cried.

Thanks to John, a retired engineer from New Jersey, for this very funny story!

You should read the autopsy report. He had a skin disease called vitiligo. Predjuce is ignorance.

I’m not seeing the humor in this.  I find it tragic that an amazing artist was conflicted with his identity and it shows the extreme affects of racism.

He had a skin disease called vitiligo and this is verifiable in his autopsy report. If you suffer from the same disease on your skin, you sure would not be laughing.
