The Color of Peanut Butter

I was sitting in the living room with my daughter who was 6 at the time, and she said, “mom you are chocolate.” I said, “really?” and she put her arm against mine and said, “I am the color of peanut butter.” Than she said that Dad is the color of hummus and so is Aiden (her baby brother).

She went in to her first grade class and wrote a story about people being the color of foods and it turned in to a big fun game in the classroom. I didn’t know she did this until the teacher called me up one night and told me all about it.
